GEORGE and LOUISA (UXBRIDGE) had EMILY BRIND,BORN 187?.SHE MARRIED JOSEPHUS GOVAARS 111.THEY HAD (GEORGE SIDNEY GOVAARS.) THE SALVATION ARMY CALLED HIM THE (THE HALLELUJAH DUTCHMAN).IN ( 1937 ),uxbridge,recieved a visit from Colonel Govaars of Holland, as CAPT.Govarrs was at Uxbridge forty years previousely. IT is also interesting to note that at these celebrations the chair was taken by Alderman J.R, SMITH,JP; lord MAYOR of PORTSMOUTH and SELSEA, THE FIIRST SALVATIONIST to become LORD MAYOR OF ANY CITY. the visit was in the local papers. the HEADING WAS "UXBBRIDGE,INVVADED BY HOLLAND and INDIA" ,THHERE WAS INDIAN SALVATION ARMY OFFICER "MAJOR JAI BHAI" ,also. This is the last will and testament of me Sydney Brind of Chislehurst 48 The Greenway, Uxbridge, in the county of Middlesex made this 7th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty five. I hereby revoke all wills made by me at any time heretofore. I appoint Richard Goffin 77 Manor Ways, Uxbridge, to be my Executor and direct that all my Debts and Funeral Expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my wife Jessie Mabel Brind, the house, known as Chislehurst, 48 The Greenway, Uxbridge, and the contents of same and all my personal belongings insurances & bank balance. Should she predecease me the house known as Chislehurst 48 The Greenway Uxbridge I leave jointly to Marjorie Goddard and Beryl Goddard of 21 Park Road, Chilsehurst Kent, the contents of the front bedroom to my sister Kath Peevor and the remainder of the furniture and effects to Marjorie and Beryl Goddard afore mentioned with any insurances, bank balances etc. My gold watch and silver cigarette case to my nephew Horace Brind.
