A page from the 1830-31 Wiltshire Criminal Register. It's a bit hard to read but Thomas Brind was transported for 7 years for 'feloniously destroying a threshing machine'. As you can see, a guy further down the list wasn't as lucky and was sentenced to death. See convicts. This was probably the Thomas Brind who was one of 224 convicts transported on the Eliza. The ship sailed on 02 February 1831 and arrived on 2nd October 1831 in Van Diemen's Land .
