If you look carefully at the pictures of Westminster bridge you can see that it was entirely full when I was still on the embankment. Clearly the current government is going to have to change its policy.
Zoom in and you will see that the bridge in the distance is entirely covered by demonstrators.

The tube was brought to a halt in places by rumbunctious football fans accompanied by a phalanx of almost paramilitary policemen. It was all good natured but it scared London Transport. Meanwhile policing for this huge demonstration was minimal and often smiling. When are the police who insisted on moving a demo away from a synagogue going to apologise?
