Confetti for an economic crash?

You can always tell when a crash is coming. As soon as the credit card companies go into overdrive and start sending out invitations like confetti, it's clear the economy is over heating.

I have no income. I have had no income for a decade, other than a tiny pension and a small amount I've been able to get from freelancing; no more than pocket money. Yet almost every day I'm being sent an invitation of this kind.

After the over heating, comes the correction. And what does the poor Bank of England do then since interest rates have been more or less zero for a decade? They can't cut them.

It's going to be a bumpy ride.
