| At the poshest local hotel at Platinas there was a swimming pool and next to it a giant chess set. Katy decided we had to have a game, even though the temperature was sweltering and the sun was beating down on us like a demented bongo player.
We bought rather expensive (but extremely cold) lagers to fend off the heat and played a game. Katy took my queen early in the match (I blame the heat). |
